My boyfriend and i arrived to very friendly host , who was very informative and made us feel very relaxed. We received a form to fill out on arrival where we were asked to circled areas which required special attention. I left this blank and my boyfriend circled his feet.
As there was two of us being massaged at once, the therapist massaged my boyfriend and i had an assistant massage me.
When it came to the deep tissue massage on the back, they swapped roles and the therapist then set to work on my back before swapping back over and i received the assistant back again.
My boyfriend and i had two very different experiences. While he had a fantastic, relaxing experience with the therapist who was very experienced and spent a long time working on the knots in his shoulder, I had a not so relaxing time with the assistant.
There was no pressure, no techniques used, it was simply spreading oil using the same rubbing motion. When it was time for the assistant and the therapist to swap roles, it was brilliant! She is extremely good at what she does and i could feel her really working my knots outs, but it was over too soon and they then swapped roles and i received the assistant back, who continued to use the same oil spreading technique and the therapist then returned to work on my boyfriends shoulder.
At the end of the treatment the therapist left the room and the assistant continued to sit there while my boyfriend and i were sat waiting to get dressed. On the form you fill out before the treatment, it asks your occupation and having seen my boyfriend is a Solicitor, the assistant continued to ask him questions about immigration law and ask what she could do in her situation. My boyfriend, not wanting to be rude, get her a little advice. This i find extremely unprofessional and it highly irritated me. We have gone there on a Sunday to have a relaxing treatment, not to be asked questions about work.
To sum up my experience - I would rather my boyfriend gave me a back massage at home then have that treatment again. Make sure you have the actual therapist work on you and not the assistant!
A very good experience even if you have never had a massage before. A relaxing room and friendly staff. Very comfortable massage with good pressure. I will return for another visit.

A very friendly host , who was well experienced. I received a form to fill out on arrival and I circled areas which I wanted extra attention. This was good as the massage was more personal and not a basic. There was an option for the amount of pressure which I liked as well. Definitely value for money.
