Very nice, staff were friendly and even got upgraded to the honeymoon suit :) only thing was they forgot our breakfast order for our room but it came quick enough after complaining.
We had a wonderful time, excellent value for money....no children in sight, just a few other civilised adults...fab food, superb spa and beautiful rooms in the hotel.
Our expectations were definitely met when we arrived at the Charlton House Hotel. Surroundings areas were beautiful and the grounds at the Hotel were lovely. We enjoyed everything about the Hotel, especially the spa facilities and the restaurant. I would recommend this to anyone that was thinking of just getting away for a few days as one night is just not enough. If you are able to request a room, we were in the East Wing, absolutely stunning decor!
Went on a girlies weekend break. Great Spa, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, fantastic treatments, nice deluxe twin rooms, lovely grounds.....we all really enjoyed our weekend, can't wait to go back
The spa break was exactly what we needed. We were upgraded to a superior room, which was unexpected and very luxurious! The spa facilities were nice, although the laconium didn't appear to be in working order. We emerged very relaxed nonetheless and enjoyed the other spa facilities. The meals included were tasty, although portion sizes at dinner could have been larger - we added dessert to compensate. Overall very relaxing and both of us wished we had booked in for 2 nights! Would definitely recommend this spa break.
