Welcoming staff. Had a deep tissue massage and was exactly what a deep massage should be. Perfect for all the pains in my shoulders and next.
The Massage was good and staff polite, although we thought the couples massage would be in the same room- Unfortunately it was not.
Started to go regularly (once a month) after coming to Banyen the first time. I always feel relaxed and stress free following a massage from here.
The staff here are kind and polite and treat their clients well, often like friends (there are a number of clientele who have been a number of times). Nikki is particularly good but all the masseuses offer good services and keep to time.
Banyen also offer showers for clients after their massage which is a nice touch.
Terrible experience. The place was locked and looked deserted when I arrived, I rang the bell multiple times but no-one came. I was 5 minutes early, so I waited until my appointment start time to ring two phone numbers listed outside. After a number of attempts and at a time AFTER my massage was supposed to have begun I got through to a lady who wasn’t even in the building but could see me outside on a webcam facing the door. She explained a couple before me arrived 15 minutes late, so the therapists were still in with them and I had to wait. I was left out in the cold on their front door step for 20 minutes!!! If someone is late and other customers are scheduled directly after them, they should expect to lose the time and the therapists should still honour MY start time. Why was I being penalised for someone else’s inability to keep time. The staff really didn’t seem to care, didn’t think it was a problem and were generally very nonchalant. Disgusting attitude in my opinion. In the end after calling the absent lady on the phone again she explained I should hammer on the door to be let in - hardly tranquil for anyone. It was an awful massage thereafter as I was so angry and could not relax. The late start also meant I was late for somewhere I needed to be after this massage, which the therapists did not seem to care less about. I had to actually run from the venue, again not what you should do after a desired relaxing massage. Little apology given and no compensation offered either. I would most certainly NOT recommend!! I would have given zero scores if I could.
The massage is really good value and my masseuse was strong. The venue isn't particularly glamorous but its a decent massage. Make sure you call ahead if you are booking last minute as sometimes they don't see the messages.
