Rude and poor customer service. I booked a coupls massage for myself and partner I arrived to the appointment four minutes past my appointment time to be told by crying helen that pinky has taken another booking therefore I can't have my massage there was no managerto speak to and would like I refund. I don't live in the area so will not be able to rebook and wouldn't want to.
Arrived 5 min late so I was quite stressed.A lady in the reception gave me a very little hello without a smile and directly explained to me that if I’m not paying online at the app,I will not have the discount price noticed online and have to pay the full price. I explained her that nothing about that is noticed on the app and tried to find the solution during few minutes but she was just seat like that looking at her computer without give me any attention and repeat me that I had to pay full price. Anyway, I have paid the full price without a scandal. An Asian lady (sorry don’t know the name) explained me more nicely and said to her colleagues « that’s not her fault » but she replied with very bad eyes. About COVID : no temp check, no checking if Ive done correctly the NHS track and trace. They haven’t gave me any document to fill about my allergies/health problems or asked me the pressure that I wanted. (I mean; all the salons in the world doing that) . The Asian lady who gave me a massage was hopefully kind and calm and the massage was good, except that the « foot reflexology » is not reflexology at all, only a basic foot massage. Last point, and not the fault salon at all but important to notice : there’s works in the same street so you’ll enjoy all the noises during your « relaxing »treatment. Please, if the manager see this comment, try to train your staff about politeness, customer service and smile. (I’m still looking for some kindness and a smile since now...) I suppose that I’ll be much much better treated if I’ll be a man ;)
I first discovered this gem in 2020 and will be coming back again and again. The place is very clean and the massage room itself was toasty warm and inviting. Pinky is an exceptional massage therapist combining a strong balance of Thai and traditional deep tissue massage techniques and leaves no stone unturned!
A deep tissue massage was well overdue and Patty did not disappoint. She was great and I truly do recommend!
