Great local salon, have been getting my hair cut here for years. Excellent professional service, stylists have good cutting skills, which is not easy to find.

I had to wait for a long time before I got my hair cut. Salon seemed understaffed that day as my hairdresser had to rush off frequently to consult other clients. Overall alright but room for improvement.
Men's Haircut
Had a wonderful experience with my stylist Fiona! She put in so much patience, dedication and care into turning my thick, Asian hair from black to blonde in one sitting and the end result was fantastic! This place is definitely worth it, the staff are all friendly and dedicated to making your time matter.
Balayage
Very stressful experience and I would not go back again. I was kept waiting 30mins and was brought a cup of tea but no explanation and no idea of how long it would be- good thing I wasn’t in a hurry to get somewhere. The hairdresser was clearly too busy and really maybe they should limit the number of appointments one person should do as she was trying to do my hair as fast as she could but I felt really stressed for her too. Another appointment for her arrived when she was only half way through my cut so she had to leave me to attend to other customer for 5 minutes. As a result of the chaos I’ve ended up with a cut I don’t like- I wanted more shaping around the front but as the stylist was so busy and had someone else waiting I felt like I couldn’t ask for things to be put right. It is also uneven and longer on one side than the other- again because the stylist was rushing. I had prepaid on treatwell so had to sit wait first to be seen to. If I hadn’t prepaid I would’ve probably left. The management need to look at how many appointments are booked in and ensure staff can actually accommodate ppl. I left at 6.30, so all in all I was in the salon for nearly 2 hours for a wash cut and blowdry!! The blowdry was also not very good and I had to try fix my hair myself when I got home. Maybe it would’ve been better if I hadn’t felt like I was being rushed and the stylist could’ve taken time doing my hair but I won’t be returning to find out! On the plus side the stylist was very friendly and clearly good at her job but on this occasion as she was rushing I don’t think she was able to do a good job. It’s a shame and also a shame I have to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed.
