I went ot Barnabys for a hair cut and blow-dry and was very pleased with the final result. Recommend it.

What a lovely cut will certainly be back soon. Very busy so I was lucky to get in at such short notice. Asked lots of qs to ensure they got it right.

barnabys is a lovely little salon tucked away in islington. the staff are friendly, kind and really take care. having missed my appointment i thought they might be a bit rude or take less care, but we joked about it when i arrived for my rescheduled cut, and simon took a good amount of time to thoroughly understand the concerns i have with my hair and even went a step beyond to suggest things that i could do at home, but that wouldn't profit him at all. he knows his stuff, and genuinely cares about his clients. on top of that, i got a lovely cut, exactly what i asked for even though i probably should have gone with cutting it a bit shorter as he suggested due to it being so dry, but he wanted to ensure i was happy with it, and didn't ignore my requests - even if they weren't the best option. also, he didn't seem at all annoyed that i wanted to keep it long for now, and was so gracious about it, i didn't feel like an idiot even though we both knew he was right. tops marks on all counts! thanks again simon!

Friendly and attentive service. Hairdresser was skilled at her job, the hair cut and blow dry was great. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent hairdresser in the Highbury area. For what I paid it was really good value too, and I would go back again.

It was satisfactory. It was good for the price but think if prefer to pay more and know I'm getting quality.
