I used to love this place and regularly went for a range of beauty treatments. Generally, the staff are lovely and accommodating however my latest two experiences have left me feeling incredibly disappointed. I got a shellac manicure a few weeks before I was due to go on holiday. The manicure started peeling on several nails after just one day. I called the salon and they told me to come back in to get it fixed. I was worried that the problem would recur so I asked to have a gel extension manicure instead. They only charged me half for this bringing the total spend to £46 in just 5 days. I agreed to this in the hope that they would then be ok for going away. While getting my nails done the lady put a mountain of glue on - so much that my fingers stuck to the nails the whole way around on almost every finger which I then had to ask another lady to remove - painful! Finally, the nails were bumpy and extremely thick which, after two hours I was just keen to get out of there. Less than a week after that appointment I have 5 nails left - the rest broke off/chipped painfully. No doubt this was due to how thick the nails were as the only remaining ones are the thinnest. Incredibly disappointing to have my nails in a dreadful condition just one week after spending £45.
Good experience.
The lady who did the wax was very good But the guy who did the manicure was not professional at all
Shellac manicure - I think the girl was new and the manicure wasn't the best i.e. cuticles still looked a bit ragged after. One nail chipped after one day but they fixed it for free.
Pleasant experience, good staff, relaxing. Nail polish on my toes got chipped only two days later, though, which is a bit of a shame. I would come back here again.
