Upon arrival it seems a friend or family member who did not know the business well was filling in. She had to go back and fourth with a member of staff already doing a treatment to find anything out. After who I can only assume was the manager came out to take payment first she then explained my treatment to the other lady in their language then left. Highly concerned that this woman did not know what she was doing (I saw the other woman demonstrate what to do) I asked if she had done it before and of course she lied. Anyway I took her word and lay on the table where she then lite the candle and struggled to put it in my ear (not rocket science) before that she fiddled with the piece of card that is meant to go around the candle to prevent any wax dripping. From there I knew she was clueless and for whatever reason gave her the benefit of the doubt until it was clear she was playing games and figuring it out as she went- not something I wanted knowing there would be fire so close to my face and hair. Needless to say I asked for her to get her manager since they’d already taken my money and decided to take me for a mug. Eventually someone with experience did my treatment but I had already been disappointed. Having paid for minutes of head massage and ear candle treatment, it is no surprised that I was further frustrated when the last told me it’s finished 20 minutes in. She then gave me some nonsense speech about how it’s better for us both that she’s done it quickly. I obviously made my case and then she continued for the remaining 10 minutes massaging my head. It’s a shame that my experience started the way it did because for the last part, I enjoyed the head massage and wanted to get acupuncture there too. However I will now do this elsewhere because I refuse to give them any more money and be treated the way I was.
