The staff here are very friendly. I had my hair cut first and I was happy with the result. However, we did have some communication issues due to language barriers as I was trying to tell the hairdresser what I wanted but her English level meant that she didn't understand.
I also had some waxing done and while the finished result was good, I was concerned about the hygiene practices. I am new to the UK so I don't know what the regulations are, but in Australia each strip of wax must be spread with a new paddle so as not to cross contaminate the wax pot, and other clients. I believe this is especially important when waxing certain parts of the body. The therapist didn't wear gloves when waxing either, and often put the wooden paddle into her mouth so that she had two hands free to pull off the wax, then took the paddle back into her hands. Unhygienic practises if you ask me.
Again, they were friendly and my haircut was good, but I won't be returning for any waxing I'm afraid.
