This haircut was quite an uncomfortable experience - I was not greeted when I arrived but left to stand there for a few minutes before someone could've bothered to look up from their phone. I had booked an appointment prior to the cut, but clearly no one knew or cared who I was - I had to explain again I wanted a wash cut and blow dry.
I was taken (in silence) to get my hair washed. No one took my coat so I had to keep it on my lap which I thought was rude. I was not asked what I wanted doing to my hair before it was washed which I think is very unprofessional - I straighten my hair but it is naturally very curly so it would be hard to explain what I wanted whilst it was wet. I had to butt in and refuse to sit down before I had explained which I found very awkward. I wish I had walked out then.
Fine wash - in silence. The products used said L'Oréal but smelt very very sweet so I am unsure of their legitimacy.
The cut itself actually was fine although there were problems due to the language barrier of explaining what I wanted (she spoke limited English). I did get a very good straight blow dry though.
All in all the cut was OK and the blow dry was good, but I think that was luck more than anything as my request was very simple (just a trim) I would not have asked for anything more complex.
The worst part was there was absolutely 0 customer service which I expect - I sat in absolute silence for the whole cut whilst the hairdresser chatted in polish to her friends which I think is very rude. To put how I was ignored in context I was never even asked my name. It was a pretty horrible experience.
