This is my second time having the pregnancy massage here. The therapist is great and the ambience in the room itself is nice - just what I was after; low lighting, candles, relaxing music. They never rush you and you don’t feel like you’re in a production line. The temparature is nice (although I haven’t been in the summer and I guess it could get quite warm...) As it’s a pregnancy massage, the pressure is quite light and it’s really more for relaxation than anything else, but it did the job I expected and I still feel the therspist got some knots out of my shoulder.
The only reason for not giving the venue 5 * is because it’s quite a small salon and you can hear noise from the reception really easily. It would be great if there was a door separating reception and the corridor to the treatment rooms, but it’s not an overtly busy place so it only bothered me for part of the massage. It’s also a little disappointing to have to pay to have an oil with aroma - for me, this really is a huge part of the relaxation factor and I feel it’s quite a bit more to charge to add this on (£5). But at least it’s an option to add it!
