You get what you pay for. If you are booking to have a service done in a central London Salon, with all the latest equipment and a receptionist to take your coat and get you a glass of water, then you pay extra for that. The price will be higher to cover the cost of all those things, but the quality of the end result of your service will still be the same. Beauty Aliss isn't a central London Salon, there is no receptionist or any of the other perks that the higher price tag comes with. This does not however effect the end result of the treatment. I booked in to have a Spray Tan, and was left waiting in the main hair dresser's salon part for quite some time, (my appoint was meant to be for 11am, I didn't get seen to until 11.25am!) it turns out what was taking so long was that the Spray Tanning tent had to be built. That was a surprise. Whilst the venue its self is not in any way glamorous (It's a backroom of a Hair Salon) the service that is provided is spot on. Once I got over the fact that I was stood semi naked in a tent in a tiny little backroom, the experience wasn't that bad, and the end result was exactly what I was after, and I am very pleased with the tan! I paid £15 for a full body Spray Tan, and yes for £15 I had to stand in a tent not a tanning both, I had to put my belongings on a shelf and there certainly was no complimentary drinks but the quality of the end result was just as good as that of any of the Central London Salons I have been to. If you can live without all the little perks and expectations of a major Salon and just want a good end result that is with every penny of the £15 price tag if not more, then I highly recommend this Salon.
Unfortunately the salon itself is dirty and badly kept - by far the worst salon I've been to (the name outside does not correspond to the name online hence it was also difficult to find). As for the treatment, hot chocolate wax was used for underarms and Hollywood which required many painful tries before all the hair was removed while normal wax with strips was used on my legs. Here, several pieces of my skin were ripped off and as I was going on holiday the same day they left sensitive areas that burnt in the sun leaving the skin looking like a patchwork. I spent £40 but I will definitely spend a little bit more next time and go to a better salon.
Alina is very friendly and professionalshe tries to reduce the pain as mich as possible. Quick waxing and good result. Only the place should be improved a little bit.
Really pleased with my Brazilian and Full leg waxing, Alina is very professional. The salon could be more nice but I will definitely go again.
The Staff here are very friendly and efficient, and very precise in what they do. I would definitely use them again. Thanks you.
