I had the most awful experience I have ever had in the 12 years I have been waxing. This woman should not have a beautician degree let along be part of the Treatwell network.
To keep the long story short, this why:
- I had booked full legs, Hollywood bikini and eyebrows threading. All these were booked for a duration of 30 minutes! Got in at 14.00, another costumer was outside waiting at 14.30 (same happened before me)
- Having only 30 minutes to do everything, she was rushing so much that by the end of the session, I was left with a lot of wax on my legs and half of my skin on her strips. A day after this and I am in a horrible pain, on my bikini area, I have an immerse burning and I have started pilling off!
-She completely and utterly destroyed my eyebrows, I had thick eyebrows with some gaps and I explicitly told her that I did not wish to have them thinner and that I cover the gaps with pensil. While she was threading she was talking over the phone!!! She completely disregarded my wishes and now I look like a 70s Drag Queen with a very thin eyebrow and no idea if and how it will grow again! I protested, she tried to mumble some pathetic excuses, I asked her to just make the other eyebrow similar, she didn’t even manage that!
To sum up, I have horrible unmatching eyebrows that I didn’t ask for, burns from the wax and I am unable to wear underwear without hurting like hell!
Give 10 more pounds and avoid this horrible place!

I wanted to give 0 stars. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had. Quite frankly shocked that Treatwell would list a place like this on the app. Beyond disgusting levels of hygiene with dust everywhere, equipment that looked as though it has never been cleaned and unsanitary towels used. The beautician proceeded to shout aggressively in another language into a phone headset throughout my entire treatment, which added to my distress. It was as if she had never done a hot wax in her life. The wax was so boiling it scaled my skin so I asked her to stop and she rudely continued on her phone conversation, carried on burning me with the hot wax and then eventually when I called out in pain said she’d use strip wax. I told her I didn’t want strip wax and she batted me away, ferociously waxed my skin and insides - never anything so painful (and I’ve had waxes for the last 7 years) I was close to crying. The job itself was totally messy and shoddily done - despite all the serious pain, hair not removed properly. Then poured gross oil on me and ripped some of the paper towel from beneath me and prodded at sensitive skin. Can’t actually believe what happened at this revolting place. Left humiliated, in pain and absolutely livid. Has changed my whole vie on treatwell.

Arrived on time but my treatment was delayed to serve other customers that were just popping in for threading. There is only one member of staff to cater for everything. A lot of chaos and lack of privacy in the salon. It's cash-only, but there's a cash-machine downstairs in the off-licence shop. One of the most painful and haphazard waxing I have ever had! I was actually surprised that the job was accomplished well in the end.
