I opted for normal polish but sadly despite being extremely careful I managed to chip a nail before the day was out. Bit disappointed about that but otherwise it was fine.

With busy run up to Christmas I thought I'd left it too late but as ever this salon was able to fit a last minute manicure in. I'd chosen Kristy who was recommended by her colleague Jane. Great shout Jane my gel manicure was perfect just what was looking for. Helped by Kristy I chose a navy base with an amazing ombre sparkle! It looks really classy and understated.
