Overall had an ok experience for my second time visting Beauty Kulture. When I arrived after being soaked in the rain I was offered a hot drink. My appointment was supposed to be delayed by only 20 minutes, but ended being an hour and 15 minutes later - supposedly beginning at 12:45 but not starting until 2pm. Luckily, I hadn’t parked in a timed bay. I showed the stylist the picture of what I wanted and the transformation was underway. When The towel was taken off and the first piece of hair dried, I explained that I wanted it to be a bit more ashy toned blonde. To this I was told - no. So, after saying the colour was not ashy enough I was simply told it was good enough. The blood dry was okay, but left a little frizzy at the top which meant when I went home - I had to redo it before going out again.
At the end of the appointment I was told the price on treatwell was a - from price and was told it would be £135. I couldn’t believe that - I did not see any clause and was told the price AFTER my hair had been done. Luckily, I only paid the £80 because I stated my confusion with this.
The colour is good and will tone down after a week or so, but some of the other things made my experience a little less than the first time I visited which was the reason I came back this time. I expect this was unfortaunate timing - as I have otherwise some very good thoughts about Beauty Kulture.
There was a little issue with my booking to start with, but the staff were very apologetic regarding the misunderstanding and ensured this was rectified as soon as possible which I appreciated
