The staff were all polite and welcoming the salon was very clean and peaceful, there was soft music playing to relax the customers.

I booked for a shellac manicure online. I received a call from the salon to confirm the booking and for them to advise me who would be doing my nails. I advised I already had gel on them so would need a soak off. They said to come in 15 mins early. I arrived at 5.45pm, was taken to a treatment room, which was very strange, and advised they would not do them as I had gel on from elsewhere! I have been to this salon before when my own beautician is away, and had other salon gel removed. How very odd that they won't remove existing gel/shellac. There is absolutely no reason for this, and it massively inconvenienced me as I was going to London for the weekend and needed my nails doing before I went. I will never ever go to this salon again, and I will advise my beautician not to recommend Beauty Matters to her clients when she is on holiday.
