While the venue itself isn't bad, a fire broke out in a treatment room while we were there. Despite men running in with fire extinguishers and buckets of water (no authorities were called), we were given no instructions or evacuated, and finally had to leave the spa and stand in a cold hallway as the smoke was hurting our eyes and making us cough. At that point the spa was too smokey to use, and when we asked if there was any other shower we could use (so as not to inhale more smoke) the receptionist said she'd look into it then ignored us and left us in the hallway. Finally we went back in to shower (which was very unpleasant with the smoke), during which period the manager informed his staff to say that the "smell" was due to a faulty radiator. Having finally changed and wanting to speak with someone before we left, we found the entire spa deserted. Despite our visit being cut short due to the fire, we weren't offered any compensation or voucher. Not only that, but my friend and I had to suffer from headaches, painful eyes and coughing all evening.
I appreciate accidents happen, but it was an appaling way to manage the situation.

I had such an incredible experience here! The Beauty and Melody Spa is a beautiful, relaxing oasis in the heart of the city. The staff are so attentive and friendly, that I felt so comfortable and at ease the minute from the minute I walked in. Even though I hadn't booked in my massage the staff were able to fit me in straight away! I only had a 15 minute back and neck massage but it was so amazing that it felt like hours! I have never had a massage that good, I was really impressed by the service. The big difference that sets this spa apart from many others is the staff. They work as a team and they create a truly relaxing atmosphere, by looking after everything for you and constantly serving refreshments. The music throughout the spa was ambient and soft. Thank you for giving me a much needed break!
From the moment you step into the spa, it has a calming influence! I treated myself as a well done for completing my studies and it was perfect- just what i needed. After a tour and instruction on how to use the rain shower i think it was, i was shown to where i was getting my treatment. The lady who did my treatment was friendly but professional and i felt myself starting to relax during my scrub! The following hours were spent relaxing, only being disturbed (although i wouldn't say disturbed would be a fair description!) to be offered refreshments. The steam room smelt fantastic, and the relaxation chairs are unbelievable. My only criticism is that it is not signed posted from the entrance of the hotel so you may need to ask for directions to get in and out. Will definitely be visiting this spa again.
