Dee is really great - so friendly and chatty, whilst also being efficient and thorough, which is impressive. Always impressed by how quickly the wax is over but what a good job is done to get all the hair away. Thanks!

I had booked a Swedish massage with Dee but it became obvious halfway that my back was far too tender for any deeper tissue action. So she kindly volunteered to do a custom made massage for me instead, more tailored to relaxation (which is what I actually wanted, despite bravely booking the Swedish!). She is really great and I’m looking forward to my next appointment with her

Hate to leave a less than positive review, especially as the staff were so nice but this was pretty much the worst wax I’ve ever had. Despite commenting on how long the hair was, no attempts to trim (or giving me a chance to trim) were made, and instead of being applied and removed in sections, too-hot wax was applied pretty much all over. Removal was the most painful experience of my life (I have frequented 5+ different salons in my life and in general I have a pretty high pain threshold - thick dark hair ftw). After requesting that we leave it there as I was too uncomfortable & on the verge of tears, the (very sweet although not terribly professional) technician whose name I did not catch proceeded to ‘tidy up’ with strip wax, which I did not really want at that point. If the desire is that one should arrive pre trimmed this should be communicated in advance. No other salon I’ve been to has had an issue with this & considering I booked through a ‘last minute’ offer it is not inconceivable that one may not have time to prepare. I will not be returning.
