I have booked with Wahanda off-peak deal for a pedicure. I called the salon for a direction and the lady told me that they are fully booked and can't take me today today and they don't have my appointment. After I explained to her that I already paid and it is confirmed by Wahanda she told me that she will call me back in 10 min to check if there is such appointment. After 10 min and nobody called me I called again twice and she told me that she is going to confirm my appointment. I have arrived there and I was asked 2-3 times why I am there. The girl that did my pedicure had her foot file broken and she had to stop few times to put the part back together. The nail file was about 2-3 cm long and she was struggling to file the nails. I asked her to shorten my nails and she did only few of them. The nail polish was smeared and she did not bother to fix. The overall procedure lasted abt 30 min and I paid for standard pedicure for 45 min. I had the top coat put and immediately rushed out by the time I walked home (5-10 min.) my polish was covered with dust that stuck on the top. Overall, time, effort and money wasted. The ambience of the salon and the location is good.
I don't usually get facials as I am prone to spots and I have always been apprehensive that a facial would make them worse. This facial was amazing, it was extremely relaxing and I could feel the products and techniques used were giving my skin a thorough deep cleanse. The customer care and expertise of the staff make you feel comfortable and confident in what they are doing. My skin felt like silk after and my spots weren't as red and swollen and look well on the road to recovery. An absolute hidden gem of a venue, I will certainly be going back very soon
Arrived early - minimal acknowledgement from both therapists. Facilities for pedicure - disorganised. Footspa bowl from argos (therapist explained there was no space available for pedicure chair). Equipment for pedicure in small bowl on floor/lap/unit. Lots of movement by therapist to get equipment from other places in salon (unprepared). Suggestion: Keep bottles of water/offer refreshments on arrival not at the end of the treatment. No questions about health/background history of nails etc. No record kept of colour used. Therapist kept checking mobile throughout treatment. Poor customer service overall. Treatment itself was adequate - but it was a functional appointment not an experience.
I very much enjoyed the ambience and service at Victoria Secret Nails. This is a small salon hidden within busy Victoria. Rosana, the owner, offers a personalised service that makes you feel relaxed and at home. I ended up booking an additional service for waxing on the day and was extremely pleased with the waxing treatment as well.
I had a good experience coming to this place. The pedicure was nice. I would probably come back and book again.
