I asked before my massage began if the oils used are ok for breastfeeding. The masseur said it would be fine as she wouldn't be massaging breast tissue. I feel all staff doing this job should be aware of the limitations of certain products with breastfeeding clients. I explained it was about it being absorbed into the skin so she rang her boss for guidance.
My massage was ok. I went for the 50 minute Swedish massage. The masseur didn't put very much pressure on my back and it felt a little unprofessional. My back was where I needed to release stress as I'm lifting and carrying my almost 1 year old baby all day everyday, so I was disappointed with this. The rest of the full body massage was better. Later that day I felt very achey & unwell, as if I had flu. I'm not sure why. The next day, after a shower I was fine. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend to friends.
actual massage and salon were lovely. Just Treatwell made it stressful. the first salon I'd booked with managed to double book and didn't tell me until I got there. luckily I got a last minute booking here however when I turned up the salon knew nothing about the booking and it wasn't showing on their system. luckily Zoe was lovely and saw my confirmation mail and did the massage anyway. massage was great just not as relaxing as I would have liked with all the faffing due to Treatwell system.
