I was booked in at Burton Road to have a Hollywood wax however there was no staff available so was asked if I could go to a different salon for my wax. A walk back to my house and 10 minute drive later I arrived at a different beauty tonic.
I had paid for a hot wax, she said strip was better. This was definitely more painful than normal. I have been having waxes for the past 10 or so years and have used Beauty Tonic for the past 2 years regularly and have never experienced this amount of discomfort. She then proceeded to attempt using the hot wax and kept trying to remove it when it definitely wasn’t set. End result was large clumps of hair still remaining. I asked her to go over it, which she did however was pretty much useless. Went to a different salon the next day to have it redone.
All in all, very disappointed.
