I was disappointed as I had booked online a "French manicure and pedicure" which to me means that both the manicure and pedicure are French. However, it turns out only the manicure was French and the pedicure was a normal one except nobody told me. The cosmetician started on my pedicure, asked me what I wanted and I said "well...French". She did it, took about an hour and half and the whole treatment was supposed to be an hour and forty minutes. Then, half way through my manicure I can see it has already been two hours and it is now 7.30pm, i.e. 30 minutes after the salon's closing time. At that point one of the girls approaches me to say I didn't book for a French manicure and a French pedicure but just for one of them to be French. She said that because of me they had to all stay behind for an hour and keep the salon open an hour later than its usual time and she asked me to pay an extra 15 pounds as apparently the french manicure and french pedicure were altogether 55 and not the 40 I had booked for. If they had told me this at the start, I would have gone for a normal pedicure, but to give me the treatment and only tell me at the end, make me pay the extra amount and make me feel uncomfortable for keeping them late - I thought it was terrible and 100% unprofessional. I would never go back there. To top it off while the girl who did my nails was very good the quality of the nail polish was horrific and it looked like plaster afterwards.
