I booked on Friday evening for Saturday at 11, but they phoned me on Saturday at ten to say that actually they could not do it.....by which time it was too late to get an appointment anywhere else so it was very annoying
I have been to Beauty Works for a Holywood wax a few times now and have seen different therapists. All are extremely friendly and great at what they do. I would highly recommend them and will be going back!
This was the second time I visited Beauty Works Clinic Crouch End, my therapist was nice and professional. Will definitely come back.
When I arrvied at the Beauty Works clinic, having booked via Wahanda the day before, it appeared that the salon hadn't received a confirmation booking from Wahanda. Luckily the lady I'd planned to have a booking with had a late appointment therefore was able to quickly squeeze me in before this. The salon itself were very accomodating were really helpful in dealing with the situation, the staff were friendy and the treatment was good - however I was less impressed with Wahanda's service. It was only a matter of luck that the salon were able to fit my appointment in quickly, my appointment wasnt on record therefore they would have been completely justified in turning me away. Due to this it wasnt really the realaxing treatment I was looking for.
Unfortunately the salon had not received my booking details and while they had been trying to contact me my phone decided not to give me their voicemail. After turning up and finding this out they fitted me in with a new therapist they didn't know much about which didn't fill me with great hope. The massage room was tiny and as it was the therapist's first day she didn't know where things were. Massage itself was good, not the service I paid for and unfortunately the treatment room was onto the road so took a while to relax with all the traffic noises. A shame really as I've heard good things and the massage was good, not what I'd expect for the price.
