Very good massage and suited to my needs after a discussion with the masseur. Room a bit on the small and noisy side but the massage was so good I didn't notice these after a few minutes. Would highly recommend to a friend.
They ran noticeably late but the staff were very friendly and accomodating. My mum and I both had massages (I recommend the Ayurvedic) and we were both very happy indeed. Both masseuses were very skilled and experienced. I would thoroughly recommend. I plan to go back.
I attended for a Green Peel Facial recently. whew, this is NOT a pleasant treatment, the 'herbs' are applied and then massaged all over your face and it feels like you're being rubbed with crushed glass. The entire treatment I just lay there enduring it until the end. This is not a criticism of technique, its what is supposed to happen, but fair warning to anyone lulled by use of the word 'facial' - focus instead on 'peel'. For two days after I felt like I had paper cuts all over my face and then I started to peel. I honestly can't see a discernible difference in the texture of my skin, it was quite fine anyway, but it helped HUGELY with congestion around my chin and some ingrown hairs from threading.
I have been going to this salon for a while, so was excited to see thet they had a facial deal with Wahanda. Unfortunately they were running really late when I arrived, the receptionist wasn't interested and said they would squeeze my 1 hour appointmant into a shorter time (which rather misses the point of paying for a relaxing 1 hour treatment!) When the therapist did eventually come downstairs (15 minutes after I was due to start), she told me to wait while she sold products to her last customer. At that point I gave up and left. I emailed the salon to say I was disappointed and they didn't offer any explanation, but told me to come on a weekday when they were not so busy. My past experiences there (paying full price) have been good, but it seems they treat voucher customers very poorly.
if you have never tried Reflexology you will be amazed on how wonderful you feel after a session and you must try it. I went to the Crouch End branch. I had a wonderful session with the lovely "cathy" who worked wonders on feet relaxing the whole of my body, If you are one of those people who are shy about taking off your cloth to get a message Reflexology is another way of working on the body by using the map of you body though your feet to message parts of your body. I always find the staff welcoming and charming and i am looking forward to my next session. The only downside is that it is difficult to get an appointment when you want one.
