I was early and called Karen to let her know I was early, which I didn't mind waiting. She got to her place at 3.25pm and she then took me inside. She was obviously flustered as I was early but I expected everything would be set up 10-15 mins before my appointment. It was all awkward as I wait for her to get ready. She probably started waxing at 3.40pm.
I didn't feel like it was very unprofessional, she looked a bit nervous like she never had done waxing before. I felt awkward as she didn't make me feel welcomed.
I feel like it was a waste of my time, worst experience ever. The Hollywood was ok, I had to do most of the work. In my previous experience of waxing, they would trim the long hairs and were not scared to stretch your skin to get a good grip when taking the strip out.
I feel like if beauticians are not comfortable to do waxing on private areas I do not think they should provide the service.

Karen was absolutely nice. Her home salon is really clean, the atmosphere is really soothing; this was good because I was doing the mink individual lashes and time went by so quickly.

Karen was very friendly and worked quickly with minimal pain (I got a bikini wax). The location and good value mean I will be coming back in future!
