I've been to Bella spa today to get some nail extensions. I found this salon on Google and after reviewing the website and reviews I decided to book and have them done. I am very pleased and impressed with the standard of treatment, the salon is an excellent location just down the road that runs by primarks (if you're not familiar with Manchester City Centre). My nail technician was welcoming and professional offering advice and tips on my new nails including how with the correct help I can grow my own. I was offered drinks frequently which made my visit even more special. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for any nail treatments, there are other places where I have been that drilled my nails and ruined them. No drills were used on my natural nails which was brilliant, I will be returning to keep my nails in tip top condition. Thank you.
I went to Bella Spa with a friend as a treat to her birthday. The salon is a bit difficult to find as first as it is located on a second floor in a building and we passed the salon twice without realising it. We were both offered a glass of bubbly as a complimentary in our package deal. I was impressed with the pre treatment consultation to help me decide what to go for as I did not know what option is best for my nail or my skin. I was then advised to go for either Shellac or Gelish instead of my original plan of acrylic nails and I was advised Nuskin product for our facial. We felt very welcoming as the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the all the treatment options. I was informed the pros and cons of the treatment available to me and I finally decided on Gelish nail as there is a greater range of Gelish colours and my nail did not need an extension. My Gelish Gel nails are still looking good after 2 weeks. I noticed the difference in the service here is that the therapist paid good attention to detail in the nail preparation as well as all the other stages which made the gel finish so neat and precise. The facial treatment was my favourite service out of there, as my skin felt so radiant and glowing after the treatment. My facial treatment also took place in private relaxing room Overall I was impressed with the ambience, friendly staff and felt pampered. We were quite lucky to be in the salon at off-peak hour making our experience there even more enjoyable. We also had a pedicure each and received complimentary foot massages at the end which was a pleasant surprise as well as relaxing. The nice part of the experience was that my friend and I were next to each other in all of our treatments as Bella Spa has the facilities and space to accommodate several clients simultaneously. The spa does not have sauna room or jacuzzi or swimming pool as a hotel spa; they are more of a nail and beauty spa. But this is reflected in the affordable prices which are great value for money. I will definitely come back here and have recommended it to all my friends. Thanks Bella Spa staff for our great experience at the spa.
Just tried the gelish French manicure and couldn't be happier. It lasted over month and when I came to get it removed I was so pleased to find that my nails were still in very good condition. I have had the a Gelish manicure elsewhere before and my nails were so brittle when I came to have them removed. I shall definitely be returning to have the same again. As a bonus, Angela offered me a hand massage which I found thoroughly relaxing! One of my favourite places to come for manicures and pedicures.
I don't usually post reviews, but my experience here was so bad I wanted to warn others! I've been having my nails done since I was 15 - I'm now in my mid 40s. I've had everything: manicures, acrylic nails, bio sculpture nails, shellac - both in the USA and UK. This 'spa' is very unprofessional. I had to ring twice to make an appointment, after my online request was ignored. On arrival, there is no receptionist, I had to stand in the waiting area until a member of staff noticed me and very rudely told me to sit down. I was offered coffee, which when it eventually arrived, was disgusting, obviously the cheapest instant with powdered milk. I'd requested no sugar, but it came with it anyway. I always have CND Shellac, which this spa offers. So I knew which colour I wanted. I was then told that the 'Gelish' equivalent was just as good and would take less time. Wasn't happy when I repeated that I wanted CND, the member of staff proceeded to whinge about how it took twice as long. If you don't like using a product, don't offer it! A girl who had a very poor command of English prepared my nails. I wasn't asked if I wanted the full manicure - which I didn't, I'd requested colour only as my nails had only been done two weeks previously...she trimmed off a tiny amount on one nail, which apparently meant I could be charged an extra £5! She also ignored my request not to alter the shape and length, and only stopped when another member of staff told her to. If your staff have such a bad command of the native language, they shouldn't be employed! Another member of staff then did the colour. During the treatment I got the hard sell in spades, by more than one member of staff. This may be usual in other parts of the world, but I really didn't appreciate it - this was supposed to be a relaxing treat, and was anything but. I also didn't like the fact that the staff held long conversations with each other that were not in English - I felt that was very rude. After the colour I was offered a arm massage. Wasn't asked if I had any medical conditions like poor circulation - in fact, no client record was taken at all. The massage was awful, far too rough, I was in agony! To top it all, later that evening I had distinct finger bruises up and down both arms! My husband thought I'd been beaten up! In summary, I go to have my nails done to relax and for some peace and quiet. I don't expect to be harangued into purchasing other treatments, and I expect the staff to be able to understand English!

In my experience BellaSpa is unrivalled when it comes to customer care and level of service. Firstly, all of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and make sure you are happy with the service. What I find most impressive is the quality and finish of the nail service they provide. The nails are meticulous, from the cuticles to the ultra smooth finish. I would highly recommend trying them-I guarantee you will be impressed!
