I was very disappointed as I had to wait for 30 minutes in the treatment room, while the therapist was still with another client in the next room, talking very loud. then eventually she started my massage and then said ok ive done your back you can turn over, i will go out of the room while you turn over to your front, then didn't return for another 10 minutes. She very quickly massaged the front of my legs and shoulders then said your done, get dressed and i will get your stuff ready for your pedicure. She asked if i wouldn't mind if a trainee could watch, i hadn't got a problem with that.
She made me a cup of tea and said I would have to wait as the trainee had to finish a polish. Again another 10 minutes or so passed by, she explained to the trainee how to do a pedicure and she started with one of my feet, then told the therapist to do the other one while she supervised, but she didn't supervise, she left her on her own. Then return and explained how you get the rough skin off the heels, the trainee did one foot and she then told her to put massage cream on, again the trainee started to do it, and she said this is how you put it on, getting my other foot and started to massage cream on to it, but she hadn't filed the rough skin off that foot. At that point I just wanted to get out.
The trainee did her best and didn't do a bad job, just a shame she wasn't supervised.
I was in the salon for 2 hours and 10 minutes, I reckon I the actual time of being treated was 40 minutes max, the package was a 90 minute pamper package with treats. I can only assume the treat was the cup of tea? The massage was done with baby oil and no essential oils.
I booked in with Danielle to get a balayage and turned up to find out a 17 year old was doing it instead and I was given no warning or apology that Danielle wasn't in - even when she turned up halfway through my appointment. Ellie was lovely and is clearly very good for her age but my hair is definitely not as good as it would have been if Danielle had done it and I also still had to pay the same price despite the quality difference. But thanks to Ellie - definitely got a future ahead of her
