This was my first visit back after lockdown and I had booked a deluxe mani/pedi for my birthday. I had specified a senior beauty therapist when I booked but I was given someone relatively junior (who was lovely by the way, but not very experienced). At one point a more experienced lady came over to redo a part of the process and then the junior person continued. There were no other customers the whole time I was there, so that lady would have been free to take over. The moisturise and clingfilm wrap stage was missed for the manicure, and I woke up this morning with two toes missing nail varnish which is really not what I expect given the price I paid. I want to support these businesses, but they need to put their best foot forward and if a senior person is booked and/or available on the day, that is who the customer should get. I've always been happy with Belle Cour in the past, but this was a disappointing experience.
I’m not very happy with the way my nails have turned out, went in for a full set of acrylics and came out with none of the being the same length, the shape isn’t the same and I’m just overall not very happy to have paid this much money and walk away with a rubbish job.
terrible experience as a first time client at this salon. I’ve asked for basic tweaks as the lady was doing my nails such as shortening or cutting and The management stepped in from behind the desk saying “you can stop observing every step of the way and wait till it’s finished”.
The nail station was not sanitary also, I had no towel or tissue under my hands and she was resting it on the powder left from previous clients I had to put a plastic bag I had myself to stop touching it.
