The salon was a little difficult to find, I had to walk through an area where people were working out to find it at the back of the gym. Nevertheless once I got there a lovely lady was awaiting and confirmed I was there for my nail appointment, and whisked me into a beautifully decorated room where I was sat down. The therapist was very lovely, smiley, instantly made me feel at ease and we began chatting away. I appreciated how the therapist gave me some time to decide on a colour and continued to check that I was happy with the colour- it’s the small details that really matter. The aesthetics of the spa were actually pretty and inviting however it’s unfortunate that I went whilst a spin class was taking place in the gym so I occasionally heard loud roaring/shouting. This wasn’t hugely problematic for me as I was only getting my nails done however if I’d gone for another beauty treatment it would take away from the ambience. I’d say I’m happy with my nails however upon leaving the salon in natural light the skin around my cuticles was peeling which I think may have been caused by the nail file brushing on that skin during the treatment however wished the therapist had attended to them or cut the frayed bits of ski . The nails themselves look good I love the colour however after leaving in natural light I did notice that the gel/shellac was lumpy and uneven. Overall I’d say my experience was reasonablygood.
