I booked a 'hot stone massage' however the stones were cold. After several attempts to warm up the stones I told the therapist to leave it and I would have a regular massage. Firstly there was not a proper massage bed (the ones with the hole for your face) so I had to awkwardly have my face to the side whilst propped up which gave me neck ache. The noise from outside the room was unbearable, kids screaming and general hustle and bustle of the shop, in fact the 'relaxing music' was turned up so loud to try to drown out the noise, but didn't help. Also didn't appreciate having to get undressed whilst the therapist was in the room (they normally leave for that bit) with the lights turned on bright! - this also revealed how unclean the room was with dirt and dust on the floor. After having cold stones clunking away on my back and then the attempt at the regular massage, I felt more tense leaving than when I went in. I couldn't wait for it to be over with and get out of there. The shop could do with a makeover in general. Is probably fine for nails/pedicure, but if you are looking for a nice relaxing massage, then forget it. I don't think the massage therapist really knew what she was doing and I felt absolutely not benefit. Couldn't smell any nice oils being used or anything, felt like I just had a bit of cream rubbed in my back. My worse salon experience ever! Am just annoyed that I had to pay for that service. I won't be going back.
Absolutely love my nails! Received so many compliments about how nice they look and people wanting to know where I've got them done. All the staff are very friendly and will definitely recommend Lewis for nails as he is fantastic! Really nice treat and will guarantee to return!
