Bad customer service experience. The lady doing my nails did them incorrectly as she hadn’t tried glitter nails before. She said if the glitter didn’t last I could come back and get them re-done on the house. The glitter came off in chunks quickly as it was not cured as it should have been, but when I went back to the salon they wanted to charge me again. The other employee there that day wouldn’t do it because my nails had grown out. However, this is completely besides the point, because the glitter didn’t last as promised- so my nails were a mess over Christmas. They should have been fixed completely free of charge.
The first nail tech knew that I wouldn’t be able to come back before Christmas. I had my nails done on the evening of the 19th, then I was abroad until the 2nd. I came in as soon as I could on the 3rd to address the issue. They had no understanding that it was the Christmas break, and I can’t get in touch with them when they’re closed and I’m in Germany! Finally offered me a small discount on my next service there, but that’s the same discount as I get by booking through Treatwell anyway! All in I’m shocked at their lack of responsibility when they *know* they did my nails incorrectly and took double the time. Mistakes happen and it’s fine, but what isn’t fine is not fixing your mistakes when you promised to do so.
