It was amazing the experience with Bianca, she is a really professional and left me with a hair of a princess.
I will be back again for sure and I highly recommend it.
I didn’t get my hair done here, this is only a review of the booking service.
I was recommended to Bibi by a friend and after some chatting on WhatsApp, we booked a hair appointment.
On the day of, I got a message saying ‘something unexpected’ had come up and could we move our appt by a couple of hours.
Luckily I was free and said that was fine, but could she please confirm how long I would be there for so I could double check I wouldn’t be late for my other things that day.
Bibi then didn’t answer me back for over an hour (despite me chasing) and I started to panic the appointment wouldn’t happen at all. I messaged saying I was going on holiday next week, so if she needed to cancel could she tell me ASAP so I could find somewhere else.
She then just messaged me back saying book somewhere else then. And that she was feeling sick so was unable to do an appointment that day. I should just go somewhere else seeing as ‘I don’t mind which hairdressers will touch my hair’
I was utterly shocked. Bibi hadn’t apologised, hadn’t offered me an alternative date or helped me find someone else.
I asked for help with finding someone else and she refused. I said that this wasn’t good enough, and I got a REALLY unpleasant message back, saying I’d been rude and they don’t owe me any service among other things.
I’m totally sympathetic to people being ill, and maybe if Bibi had been upfront from the start about that or offered me some sort of alternative I wouldn’t be complaining, but I was really shocked and unhappy about the way I was spoken to and treated.
Thankfully after an hour of panicked phone calls I managed to find another salon to sort my hair before my big trip.
I’m sure Bibi is a brilliant colourist (my friends hair was gorgeous) but sadly after my experience I won’t be trying to book again.
