Not awkward, painful but wasn’t uncomfortable

A little disappointed. I booked this venue for a second visit because it was described as hot wax. I prefer hot wax to using strips because I find it less harsh and not as painful, but the woman used strips this time (my first appointment, different lady, did it as just hot wax). It’s a shame because the venue is lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and they have some great value offers.

The venue is inside a hair dressers, upstairs which I knew already having read other reviews but it would've been good if they'd explained this on the appointment reminders they sent with the address on. The venue is quite dated and not as posh as other massage places. The staff were nice and welcoming and the massage was good, it was a full half an hour.
