The venue was relatively difficult to find using google maps, however, the contact details were available on the internet which made calling for directions easy and fast.
The venue was clean, calm and quiet. It was modern looking. I found the ambience could be improved with more lights turn on and some background musing on.
The receptionist was nice and polite. She invited me to sit in the waiting area but did not try to make conversation.
I did not wait for too long for the cosmetician to introduce herself and invite me to the treatment room.
The room was small but clean and well organised. The lady was kind and she tried to make me as comfortable as possible which I really appreciated.
The wax was unusually painful, the cosmetician used a different technique than was i am used to. Also, I have sensitive skin, that did not react very well to the rough wax and snatches. Eventually, I got a bleeding scratch. It was a scary experience and not what I would have expected at all. One issue I had was not having a strong disinfectant(I was given a lotion that calms the skin and softly disinfects, but I would have preferred a medical disinfectant I trust more useful ) to treat the area. I would have felt a lot safer if that was the case.
All in all, the treatment was an unpleasant scary experience for me that would not encourage me to recommend the venue to a friend, however, if it wasn't for the bleeding scratch, the clean environment and the nice members of staff would have probably made me trust the place and recommend it. If there was not for the bleeding scratch, the value for the service would have been great, but given the circumstances, I am very disatisfied
Great massage. You do have to go upstairs from the hair salon that is downstairs and was locked when I came, but when I rang they picked up right away and came to let me in. The massage was excellent and was a proper deep tissue massage. This was my first visit and I will be returning.
