I booked a Hollywood wax here and i would quite frankly not recommend it. The only reason this isn't a lower rating is because the salon is clean, professional and helpful (accomodated a last minute change to come 30min earlier). Otherwise the wax itself was terrible. I used to come a lot when a different beautician still worked here - this time I was very disappointed. The beautician didn't leave the room while I got change or at the end which was not comfortable, and repeatedly used very hot wax even after I told her it was burning me. Hot waxes needn't scorch your clients.
I was so happy to find a salon that made me comfortable and confident to ask for what I want. I'm usually not so comfortable to do that but at bladerunner's everyone was so accomodating, friendly and patiently listened to what I wanted. I went there as a birthday gift for my mom and she was very happy with her cut too. The Director who styled her hair was so friendly that my dad even got encouraged to cut his hair! He had the best haircut I've ever seen on him and it was even going to be a gift from the director but I had already paid for it so they said next time. That's how friendly and generous they were and as far as the haircutting and styling are concerned, we all left very happy and confident people.
