I contacted this salon before buying a Brazillian Keratin Treatment after the problems I had encountered with another salon (which went bust & Groupon then took an age to refund my money) but also because I have thick, naturally curly hair (quite long too esp for my race), some salons had refused to do afro-caribbean hair that I contacted or quoted a higher price. I contacted the salon via email asking whether they had the experience/were prepared to do it & fairly quickly I had a telephone response saying, `yes and also that I do not have to do the voucher system I could pay cash direct to them at my appointment' - which was obviously a weight off my mind after the Groupon challenges. I cannot fault the salon or staff, whilst the premises are not plush the service was top notch, fast & very efficient. I had a trim there too & was impressed that there was no pressure to purchasing any `extras'. Will definitely go there again.
The therapist and massage itself was fine, though I didn't get the full hour I was expecting. The salon didn't feel that inviting, the room was cramped and cold and the massage bed was pretty uncomfortable. So all in all not that relaxing.
Blooms is a great centre in the heart of the West End. I had a very good treatment there. The manicure was good, it was followed by a pleasant facial, and a relaxing deep tissue massage. Excellent service, good location, nice facilities. Will recommend to friends and family.
Overall this was OK, and great value for money. it did feel a bit rushed though, and the massage and manicure could have been better. The facial was nice, and the added steam felt great!
A nice little salon with exceptionally lovely staff. The waxing was excellent and probably the most painless waxing that I have ever had! The therapist was excellent.
I will definitely be back again!
