Don’t go if you’re in a hurry, my appointment didn’t start or end on time. They end result was nice, nothing amazing.
The salon is very clean and I was made to feel very welcome. My blow dry was the first undertaken by a new member of staff who had not dealt with relaxed hair before. Whilst I am happy to provide the experience, I do not think I should have been charged full price (+£10 extra for length) for a blow dry wasn't up to the usual standard and took twice as long.
I booked last minute on the train from London for an event in Birmingham, the system verified my appointment automatically but, thankfully, the owner called and let me know they were fully booked.

Staff was 30 minutes late, which was a huge inconvenience, considering my treatment was suppose to be an hour and I had somewhere to be. I wasn’t made aware that they were running very late, rather they just sat me down/ didn’t greet me and didn’t really talk to me until I asked about the wait 25 minutes later. Honestly, all stuff didn’t seem to hurry or be apologetic about the wait, it was quite frustrating.
People following me were treated in the same manner and i witnessed people wait for 20 minutes and leave.
The quality of blow dry wasn’t great. Women had to hurry because she had other appointments, she wasn’t really doing the job properly, she just tried to get it over with ASAP. My blow dry didn’t last. The same situation happened with the make up. The quality was dubious and the women was very rushed, try to finish the job ASAP and, to be completely honest, she just wasn’t doing a great job.
I was very disappointed. The quality of the blow dry and make up was worse than I’d be able to do myself. Felt like a waste of my time and money.
