on Treatwell part of the deal is described as “signature blowdry”, I got there and the woman I was booked in with didn’t know what that was. She then told me that for the allotted time slot she wouldn’t have time to do what I had paid for. It clearly says on treatwell which services you get and it assigns the times needed. Basically, I paid significantly more money than was deserving for the treatments I got.
The blow dry was honestly terrible, it was rushed and no care was taken in making it an enjoyable experience. An hour after having the “signature blow dry” my hair looked like nothing had been done to it. The make up was awful, the products used were cheap, high street brands that are easily affordable, home-use products, which is extremely disappointing when you pay so much money for a “professional” service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could have got my money back I absolutely would have done.
wouldnt recommend for a special occasion! I have mixed reviews about this, but overall I was really upset.
I had booked for a 40 minute curly blow dry for my graduation. I had booked at 8am so I could be ready for my graduation and could spend some time with family and my partner. This was confirmed with a staff member when I called prior to booking. When I arrived at 7.55 there was already someone there getting their makeup and hair done (despite being promised this was the first appointment and therefore there was no way I would be late). This appointment went on until 8.20 when my hair was started. I needed to leave for my makeup appointment in 20 minutes, which I had to cancel.
The lady was lovely and did my hair in 20 minutes and she was really upset about the lateness and did my makeup for me. I told her I needed the 40 minutes due to my hair type. Unfortunately, because my hair had been done so quickly, it was undone in 5 minutes and I was left with awful, flat hair which I then I had To do when I got home.
I was really upset with the whole experience. Not only was my hair a disaster, but I was running late, had to cancel my make up, re-do my hair and couldn’t have the time with my family that morning prior to my graduation.
Thankyou to the girl for trying her best though, she was really lovely and unsure as to why there was a client before me. Thankyou again for trying to relax me.
Lovely salon, nice and clean and quiet. Lovely lady who was working. However wouldn't recommend for a blow dry - a brush wasn't used to blow dry my hair, just fingers which meant after putting some curls in with straighteners my hair was SO frizzy and had so many fly aways :( Would have rather dried it my self and let someone else curl it with tongs!
