I think the value for money here is great - the hairdresser takes time over deciding the colours with you, and also included toner for free which I thought was really good. I was in a rush and she was very quick and thorough which was great.
A gem of a salon in Camden, very friendly, kind and helpful staff who know just how to sort my hair!
I had a wash, cut and blow dry at this salon. My cut was okay, which sums up what I thought of the salon as a whole - just ok/average. I found the ambience quite depressing with no other clients in there and the staff sat around chatting. I know they were probably bored but it does give a bad impression. It's all in the small details as well- when my cut was complete no one offered to get my coat for me from the stand and although this may make me sound really picky at most London salons they will fetch your coat for you and I found this quite rude, especially when they were all sat around chatting with nothing else to do. Overall not fantastic.
First visit to this Salon. Premises were clean, staff were friendly but overall a bit glum. Highlights were quite decent but was disappointed with the cut. A fair bit shorter than I expected and not a particularly good cut either. Think I'm going to have difficulty managing it. Mind you, it's so true - you get what you pay for.
We went to this salon with my sister on a Friday afternoon to have our hairs done for the night. It was ok and nothing really to complain about the service we received, both girls were very professional. Only thing that bothered us a bit that it was Friday night, the place was empty, the ambience of the place was a bit depressing and NO WINE - I may have been spoiled in London hairdressers but on Friday evening you should ask if your client wants a class of wine, hah! Also we were seated away from each other (even though the place was empty) so we couldnt even chat while we had our hairs done. Maybe I am being a bit picky but stuff like this really makes or breaks a place for me and also makes me decide if I was to go there again. Oh and the "offer" I got from Wahanda was actually more than what the prices said on the list in the salon, a bit disappointing.
