Nice, friendly salon just down the road from Liverpool Street and my work. Popped in over my lunch break and got a great cut with really good service. Pauline was able to give my curly hair great shape and I instantly felt comfortable.
Just what was needed - a no nonsense haircut and a skilled one at that. When I went for the original appointment I was told that it may be better to have the senior stylist do it due to a non-standard nature of the cut which I thought was great.
Was running 10 minutes late but when I called the hairdresser (Sarah) was fine with it. Was greeted kindly and taken to the chair. Felt relaxed and was asked how I wanted it to be cut and given advice on what would suit the texture of my hair. I was taken to the sink and given a wash. I was expecting a little more ' of a 'treatment' as thats what it said in the title, but I was pleased with the head massage and my hair was kept in a warm towel for a few minutes, which I presume was the conditioning treatment! I was very pleased with the cut that was given- I went in with straw on my head and came out with soft lightly curled locks! Sarah who did my hair was lovely and very friendly. My only niggling issue was that the original charge is £29 and I didn't realise until after I completed the payment online that as I went in evening this would be another £10 charge. I therefore paid £39 (plus travel to hairdressers and a well deserved tip to Sarah). However I asked Sarah what she usually charges for a Cut and Blowdry and she said £35 and the more senior hairdressers there charge more. I did think this was a little cheeky of the Managers of the hairdressers to state on the advert that it was a reduction of £54 to £29 when the hairdresser they have me only charged £35. I therefore ended up paying more then if I hadn't gone through Wahanda. Other than that issue, which is a Management issue, I was happy with my experience and my haircut :-)
