I thought the cost of the combined pedicure and manicure was quite good - £41. However when I arrived I was told that I would need to pay an extra £8 to remove the nail polish from my toes. I remonstrated saying that I'd never paid more than £2 for this before. The atmosphere became very frosty and the therapist made disparaging remarks about me to the other therapists. I had to sit through an hour of hostility. I was blamed for the poor outcome for not holding my fingers under the lamp properly

My wax was fine, but my therapist was about 20 minutes late for my appointment, so the whole appointment then felt like she was rushing through to catch up.
