Visited Saturday and had a lovely relaxing time, massage was lovely, all the staff was very nice and welcoming. My only snag was the place could do with a bit of updating in places, a lick of paint on the ceiling and there was quite a few little tiles missing on the seat in the steam room ... just a bit of attention needed here and there
Enjoyed the spa however some parts were run down and could do with a bit of make over. The sauna was way to hot so couldn’t use and quite a lot of people said the same. Massage was nice and relaxing. The room was clean but shower hardly worked it just trickled out!!!
The staff were nice to guests but to other staff members you could tell there was a problem between them and made it awkward. Portion sizes for the dinner was poor but breakfast was lovely and lots to choose from. Overall happy but had to pay extra for Saturday stay and pay extra for parking so overall not great value for money.
The facilities at this spa are fantastic! Plenty of bubbles, with both a warm jacuzzi and a cooler whirlpool, a sauna, steam room and aromatherapy cave. The relaxation room was lovely, though would benefit from small individual reading lights for those wishing to read without interrupting others. The changing rooms were the only let down, very small and only one shower - but there are lovely changing rooms up by the regular pool on the ground floor - so just use those instead.
Plentiful supply of towels, nice comfy robes and lovely friendly reception staff.
I had a 1hr aromatherapy massage included in my stay and Gabby was my therapist. I explained that I was feeling very tense in my lower back, shoulders and neck and would prefer if she could concentrate on those areas and ignore my legs if that was okay - she did exactly as asked and also massaged my head and arms/hands - it was blissful!! Her pressure was great, she really worked away my knots of tension - big thanks 😀
I would highly recommend this spa to anyone, child free & not overcrowded either 👌
