Lovely Spa and nice staff. The pool wasn’t warm at all and wasn’t like a relaxing swim with it not being warm. The aromatherapy cave (once the smells were working) was lovely and relaxing. The room wasn’t very hot and the lights weren’t working. Changing rooms very very small and not slip mat so when wet extremely sloppy
The treatment was spot on, unfortunately the meals were not so good in the restaurant
Alice treated my 84yo Mum with such compassion if there is an employee of the month award then she should receive it! Alice's facials were fab. The spa ie pool, sauna, steam, chill room, hot tub were fab the ladies changing rooms are a little shabby don't be put off as were clean it just needs a modern makeover. The same applies to the ladies toilets on the main hotel floor. Spa offer was £25 great value normal price £45 which is a little expensive maybe reduce each normal spa day price by £10 just a suggestion. The spa treatments as at every spa were priced quite highly for locals to use on a regular basis so offers with discounts depending on price would help. ie multiple waxes over £25 a 20% discount or free mini facial with massage etc, just ideas for you. Hotel food was tasty but overpriced. It wouldn't be hard to offer a few sandwiches with the spa cream tea offer. Plus the upgraded cream teas although fab were pricey. Fairly basic hotel bar snacks menu the wording was impressive and different to the more basic food received a very quick fix to make the wording on the menu more realistic to the food served. £5 for coffee and cake in the morning. Overall a lovely day out I would use again and recommend.
Enjoyed our stay during August bank holiday weekend, however was quite surprised how dated the rooms were. We had pre-booked spa treatments but unfortunately was told on the day that these hasn't been booked in so couldn't have any treatments. Still waiting for our refunds!
The spa facilities were lovely and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed out time. The aromatherapy cave was out favourite although the lights didn't appear to work.
