Visit was lovely but was rather let down before hand when trying to get through to the spa, leaving my name and number more than once for some to get back to me, which never happened! It took me a week to get through to them! Also my daughter booked an extra treatment on the day, paid for it and we waited around especially for it as it was later in the day, once she was sat waiting for 15 minutes she was told that she hadn’t been booked in at all and that they now couldn’t fit her in! Little disappointed as once we had managed to get booked in and get to the hotel we had a lovely relaxing day.
Me & my husband enjoyed our relaxing spa day. We paid the full price (no offer) and for that price we thought some areas were a bit poor; the changing rooms were crampt, chaotic, lacking in space, wet & full of discarded robes & towels. My husband didn’t like the downstairs pool, thought it very dark and we noticed the ceiling was in poor condition. However saying that, we enjoyed our day. All staff were lovely, cheerful & helpful. Lunch was very tasty. We would come back again but wouldn’t pay full price.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, spa reception a little confused about our booking had to forward my email of confirmation to them there and then! Also asked for more payment ... all payments had been made at time of booking and was a treat for my sister in law so didn’t want to really discuss money in front of her. Changing rooms cramped only one locker of around 20 had a key. Pool nice, jacuzzi very pleasant.. relaxation lounge nice but could have been more sound proofed as a noisy group using the pool... beauty staff excellent massage wonderful, although the doors of the treatment rooms had been painted that morning so were warned about wet paint! Afternoon tea area a little tired, furniture could do with replacing, food nice, staff helpful and pleasant.. an ok visit but wouldn’t choose to go again to this particular hotel sorry guys 😪
