It was lovely, the only thing I would say is yesterday when in the relaxation room it was SO loud outside we found it hard to relax. Maybe a member of staff should of told the people involved to quieten it down as a spa is a place to relax.
I tried emailing the hotel with special requests as my mum is terminally ill but they did not respond.
The spa is nice but does feel a bit dated. We had a lovely relaxing time in there though.
The afternoon tea I did not e joy at all, the scones had too much bicarbonate of soda in as they made my tongue feel fizzy! And the cakes tasted mass produced not home made, we just had a bite of each one but they weren’t nice enough to finish.
I was annoyed to see a sign on the desk offering massage much cheaper than the price I paid to book, we weren’t given water at the end of our massages because we were the last slot of the day and it felt like we were rushed away so they could go home.
