I booked a manicure, but somehow ended up with a File and Polish, which is not a full manicure, like I booked. A friend bought me voucher for my birthday, and feel she didn't get great value. The voucher also included a cream tea, which was booked for 3pm. However, the cream tea was strangely absent, so I had to chase this up, 4 times! And when it finally arrived, (with knives and forks!), no tea came with it. So I had to chase it again!
On the plus side, beauty treatment ladies were nice, spa great, and had a nice relaxing day.
Manicure
Very enjoyable -jus a but dissapointed that both back neck and shoulder massage was only 20 mins not the 30 mins. Mini pedicure was litreally a quick file snd varnish - cuticles not treated which is always done at my usual salon.
Pedicure
Spent a night with treatments, lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast - so much food! The staff were lovely and the massage and facial were probably the best we've had.
The only thing that wasn't so good was that the room was directly opposite the lift which meant quite a bit of noise in the night - but I guess that's the luck of the draw!
Steam and Sauna Therapy
This was my partners first ever treatment and he loved it. He was really looked after and enjoyed it.
