The area was under refurbishment which was a slightly off intro to the massage. The music played was the same few songs and quite depressing ones unfortunately. My boyfriend said his massage was good and helped de-stress but my masseuse was younger and while nice did not seem to know how to work with the body which was disappointing as it was not cheap.
Swedish Massage
Lovely facial with head and shoulder massage- my skin feels amazing afterwards! The spa is undergoing maintenance work and so was a bit noisy and messy but can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s finished.
Classic Facials
Food: great value for money... We had a 3 course meal, all meals were generous portions and food was well presented. Menu choice isn’t anything exciting, but tasted lovely. we got the all you can eat breakfast buffet in the morning, which is of a average standard. But I don’t expect gourmet when it comes to buffet so I enjoyed it. And then we even got a 2 course lunch after check out! Again, good portion size - thoroughly enjoyed it but nothing too exciting. 7/10
Staff: reception staff and waiting staff absolutely fabulous, so helpful and friendly. We were told we could check out at 12 and had a rude member of staff come to the door at 11 telling us we had to check out at 11. Wasn’t very pleased with that as we’d had a pleasant stay and was brought down right at the end. 10/10 (not inc the rude lady!)
Spa Facilities: great variety of facilities. 2 jacuzzis, steam room, sauna, adult pool,relaxation lounge and aromatherapy cave. Only complaint is that visited a few years before and it was lovely, it’s looking a little bit used and tired now. 7/10
Treatmeant. Had a Swedish massage with Lisa. Best Swedish massage I’d ever had, my partner is very ticklish and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I nodded off a few times so I knew it was good!! 10/10!
Room: we were in a standard room and it was just that. Hotel was quiet for sleeping but we did stay in the weekday. Didn’t use the bathroom much as used the spa showers etc as they looked better. Big sized bed, tv, hairdryer, 24hour room service. No complaints. We were also provided a fan which was useful in this heatwave! 7/10
Spent a lot of time lounging in their garden, you can either sit and have something to eat or drink or use their sun loungers or bean bags. Was lovely. Although you can see/hear the traffic on the other side of the road lol 8/10

Very friendly staff and beauty therapist clearly explained the treatment beforehand and some dehydration tips afterward. Excellent
