Besides the treatments which we really enjoyed the spa itself was a real disappointment and we left after a couple of hours. The pool was small and cold, with only 5 benches for many more people. The ladies changing rooms were not a room at all but a corridor with one small locker to share and no space to even walk past another person without knocking in to the lockers - such a small space. The whole place was old, tired and needed updating. With regards to the cream tea we had included, we decided to upgrade to lunch and paid £12.50 each. When we went for lunch the bar staff lady said we could only have a light bite or sandwich and a dessert, the total cost of a sandwich/lightbite and dessert was less than £12.50 ! so we would have been better off having a cream tea AND a sandwich for less money. My friend couldn't eat the chocolate desserts (that's all there was, 3 chocolate options) and upon asking if there was something else she could have we were told 'probably not' and it was left there, no option and no dessert. The spa staff refunded us one of the fees which was a nice gesture. We left feeling really fed up and like we had wasted the day. Never returning.

Thought spa facilities eg ladies shower, didnt look very clean,water was cold and looked tatty. Did have a lovely time though and fab lunch,great staff.

Loved the little rooms off of the spa pool. It was a lovely atmosphere in there.
Marked down a little for cleanliness as the ceiling tiles were dated and stained and there were rusty patches throughout the spa.
But overall for the money and atmosphere it was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!
