We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very friendly. The spa was busy so we had to make do with the 25 minute sessions, but that was our fault for not booking them sooner. That said the facials were very good; the back and shoulder massage very through; nails well done and a good range of colours. The spa facilities looked very new and when I heard they were not then they are well-maintained. The food was very good, I had low expectations of such a good deal and the range and quality of the food far exceeded these. A great dinner, good choice of breakfast including very fresh pastries and a nice lunch. Restaurant managers were both excellent.
Steam and Sauna Therapy
Really enjoyed the weekend at this hotel, except they had no recollection of the booking!! Spent a while sorting this out but was given a complimentary bottle of wine as an apology!!
The spa was awful!! Full of wet towels and robes and half eaten strawberries from previous clients!!!! The pool and jacuzzi were freezing!!!!! So cold could not swim and everything was cold and dark so couldn't even sit out and read if wanted too.
The massage was excellent (Lisa) and the food was lovely with excellent service (eve meal)
Overall if the spa had been better and the room not quite so hot (heating on all night) it is a great experience.
I took my daughter for a well earned rest from her hectic life, shame all wasn't great but think it did the job!!!!

Never had a full body massage or hot stones massage would recommend to all my family and friends without any hesitation well done. :-)

My first ever facial - it was so nice! Lisa was fab and tailored it to the needs of my skin. Would definitely go again!
