We got the escape package deal, 2 nights, 2 spa treatments, use of gym, pool, breakfast on both days, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Everything was lovely, spa is really nice, room was perfect and the food was very nice! Great value for money!
I stayed at the Hallmark hotel Bournemouth for a week as a holiday and in that time had 7 spa treatments. I had not experienced any treatments before, so it was a learning curve about what to expect and how I would feel. I have to say that I was put at ease with every appointment and the girls told me what every treatment involved before starting the treatment. I would recommend the facilities at the spa.
The only other thing I would comment on was the changing rooms, they need updating. And it would be nice to be informed that 4 hen parties where to be making use of the facilities at an earlier time rather than wait until you are in the spa enjoying yourself only to be bombarded with giggly girls in the middle of the morning which put me off completely.
A really good weekend break, for the price it was good value. I would book again. There are some negative feedback, but it's not worth paying attention to. It's an old hotel made good, and staff are friendly. Service is ok, I had to go to the bar to order desert at lunch time, but I didn't mind too much and staff were friendly.. Just busy. These things happen.
Overall a good stay close to beach and have good food & good spa facility.
I wasnt particularly impressed at the end of this. The staff were fine with showing you around and then doing the actual treatment, however I went away with my skin feeling dry, having only been partially moisturised by the person after the wrap was showered off (literally only one strip of moituriser on each arm my back and legs - nothing on my front or shoulders). In addition when having the treatment you cuold hear banging going on up above in the rest of the hotel. I probably wouldn't go back.
